Multi systemic therapy is an intensive form of family therapy that looks at all functions of the family.
To help high risk families, it also considers community-based supports by identifying positive and negative influences on the family unit and then creating positive change through reinforcement of positive behaviors and recreating the family system with these positive changes for continued growth.
